This is a salmon-pink and delicately nuanced Brut Rosé Champagne overflowing with red summer fruits, punctuated with deeper forest fruits, and perhaps a hint of vanilla adding flavour rather than sweetness. It is well-balanced and well-crafted.
This Brut Rosé would be a delight served al fresco on a warm summer afternoon, but it would be my choice for a before-dinner glass at Christmas or New Year. Its fruits would partner well with light canapés or even with a cookie after the big feast. There are always those cold meats that need a bit of help on Boxing Day.
