Lanson Le Vintage 2009 Brut, 12.5% abv, £46.00 (vegan)
This elegant Vintage Champagne is made from a selection of the finest Crus of Champagne, with grapes grown in 2009 – a year which saw incredible growing conditions. It offers aromas of grapefruit and notes of peach, lime zest and fresh lemon on the palate, making it perfect to have as an apéritif or with a shellfish platter.
Ramón Bilbao Rioja Rosado, 12.5% abv, £8.00 (vegan)
Bodegas Ramón Bilbao is situated in the heart of the famous wine region of Rioja. This delicate, salmon ink Spanish rosé has notes of citrus, orange peel and white flowers. Delicious served with a salad niçoise or picnic lunch.
Petaluma Chardonnay, 13% abv, £16.00
This Australian Chardonnay is made from grapes grown in Petaluma’s distinguished vineyards in the cool Adelaide Hills. It is delicate yet rich, with notes of stone fruits and citrus. Delicious served with crab cakes or a spring vegetable risotto.
Stellenrust Manor Chenin Blanc, 14% abv, £14.00 (vegetarian)
This refreshing oaked Chenin Blanc is produced by the prestigious family-run Stellenrust winery in Stellenbosch. Delivering ripe and zesty pineapple, pear and white peach flavours, this is perfect alongside an avocado salad or fresh calamari.
Caparelli Pinot Grigio, 12% abv, £4.50 (vegan)
This crisp and fruity Pinot Grigio is produced in Northern Italy exclusively for Tesco. It has delicious flavours of citrus and red apple and pairs beautifully with risotto primavera or seafood spaghetti.
Banfi Rosso di Montalcino, 14.5% abv, £17.00 (vegetarian)
This delicious Italian red is made by Banfi, one of the biggest producers in Tuscany’s Montalcino region. With delicious pepper, sweet cherry and plum, it has firm tannins giving it a nice balanced flavour. It is a perfect match for grilled pork chops or mushrooms.
The Misfits Cinsault, 12.5% abv, £9.00
This purple-hued Cinsault is produced by Ken Forrester Vineyards in the Western Cape of South Africa. This Cinsault is part of a new range that celebrates experimentation, with half of the grapes fermented with stalks while the other cherry that pairs perfectly alongside a charcuterie board or Greek salad.
Firemark Malbec, 13% abv, £4.49
A smooth and fruity Argentinian Malbec made exclusively for Tesco, with aromas of plums and fig with warming spice notes and flavours of blackberry. Serve with roasted red pepper dishes or grilled tuna steaks
