WHITE’S GIN, the spirit created by star chef Marco Pierre White, is celebrating seasonal produce with a collection of elegant savoury cocktails that are luxurious and on-trend. The latest recipe called The Seasoned Stalk showcases the humble celery, elevating this vegetable into a drink that is sophisticated, savoury, and surprising.
For those who are sceptical about celery, Mr. White’s The Seasoned Stalk cocktail might just call for a re-evaluation.
The Seasoned Stalk recipe
Ingredients
50ml Mr White’s Gin
20ml freshly squeezed lime juice
15ml simple syrup (adjust to taste)
60g thinly sliced celery – plus extra to garnish
2 lime wedges
Soda water to top (100–120ml)

Method
Prepare your garnish by cutting a long ribbon of celery.
In a shaker or mixing glass, muddle the sliced celery and lime wedges to release their juices. Add the gin, lime juice, and simple syrup. Add ice and shake well for about 10 seconds.
Strain into a tall glass filled with fresh ice and top with soda water, stir gently, and garnish with a celery ribbon.
