Luscious Blueberries.
Harry Hall and his family have been growing berries on their farms in Surrey and Berkshire for over half a century. I can recommend their luscious and chubby blueberries, and they are British too!
Blueberries are available from June to September. They are a delicious seasonal treat, being both colourful and sweet. I draw inspiration from them when developing cocktail recipes. They add pops of juicy flavour in cakes, and they make an outstanding cheesecake. Blueberry jam is addictive, and a pot will allow those summer berries to be enjoyed even on the coldest winter days. Just add a few blueberries to your morning pancakes or add to fruit salads or to top a yoghurt.
Bursting with flavour
Hall Hunter Partnership are growers of the most popular berries – Strawberries, Raspberries, Blackberries and Blueberries. I have tried the blueberries, and they were some of the best I have tasted. The berries are large and bursting with flavour. They add impact to any dessert, with their colour and taste.
Blueberries are often called a “superfood.” They are a healthy fruit that we can actually enjoy eating. They are loaded with nutrients and are thought to help lower blood pressure, prevent some forms of heart disease and enhance memory.
