Letter Box Hamper for Valentine’s Day

A Sweet Surprise.

Letter Box HamperYes, I know it’s still only January, but Letter Box Hampers is bound to be one of my Pick of the Year products for 2024. The concept is practical and brilliant!

Jonathan, founder of Letter Box Hamper, had the idea of making small hampers of luxury British food and drink, beautifully wrapped and sent through the post with Letter Box delivery. It sounds so simple and a ‘why didn’t I think of that first’ moment for the rest of the food-loving population.

All of the hampers are made using some of the best food and drink Britain has to offer. Jonathan travels around the country sampling and tasting the best regional produce and getting to know the producers. This special Valentine’s Day edition of the Letter Box Hamper is beautifully hand wrapped in traditional parcel paper with twine and bespoke postage stamps. People of a certain age (yes, that’s me) will remember the postman delivering paper and string-wrapped surprises. One could expect something delightful within.

Traditional hampers are grand and that’s the problem… they are grand, and not front-door friendly. A Letter Box Hamper is perfectly sized and thoughtfully filled. The postman won’t be leaving a ‘collect from the depot’ note. These parcels will go through any standard letter box so you don’t even have to be home. The contents are perfect for one or for two nibblers.

Quality treats

Letter Box HamperThis special Valentine’s Day edition Letter Box Hamper contains a twin pack of Shortbread House of Edinburgh Original shortbread, handmade in Edinburgh using a traditional Scottish recipe; a charming heart-shaped box of classic Charbonnel & Walker’s Champagne Chocolate Truffles; a small 50ml glass jar of Heather Honey from the Sheffield Honey Company in South Yorkshire, an award-winning artisan producer of premium quality local English honey; a Coco Chocolatier’s salted caramel milk chocolate bar, using sea salt gathered from the waters around the Isle of Skye in Scotland; a Coco Chocolatier’s 62% single origin dark Ivory Coast chocolate bar, vegan and palm oil-free; a 50ml glass jar of delicious Boddingtons Berries raspberry jam, made with British-grown raspberries to a traditional recipe where sugar is the only other ingredient; a Lottie Shaw’s Parkin flapjack, baked in West Yorkshire using a recipe passed down through four generations of Lottie’s family.

Simple, letterbox-friendly delivery is available anywhere in the UK. It’s so lovely to see British products being showcased in such a stylish fashion. This company deserves to succeed.
