Day of the Dead is fast becoming a calendar fixture and the famous Mexican celebration of lives lived calls for cocktails made with 100% agave, authentic Mexican tequila. We have some glamorous, exotic seasonal cocktail recipes to put you in the right spirit.

Day of the Dead – or Día de los Muertos – is a joyful holiday which has been celebrated for some three thousand years. Whilst it is called ‘Day’ of the Dead, this is in fact celebrated over two days – on 1st and 2nd November. The customs are based on the belief that the departed are not remembered with mourning and sadness, and therefore the lives they lived should be celebrated with the foods, drinks, and activities they enjoyed while still alive.

Ghoulish Cocktail Recipes
KAH Spiked Pumpkin
Ingredients: 25ml KAH Tequila Blanco 25ml Cointreau 50ml Lime juice 2 tbsp. Pumpkin puree 1 tbsp. Honey Ice Garnish: Apple and 1tsp. pumpkin pie spice Method: Place all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Shake until cold. Rim the glass with pumpkin pie spice. Strain the drink into a high-ball glass filled with ice. Garnish with a slice of apple
Ingredients:
25ml KAH Tequila Blanco 10ml Fresh lime juice 25ml Cointreau 5ml Simple syrup (optional)2 dashes of Absinthe (optional)
Ice Garnish: Lemon wedgeMethod: Put all ingredients into a shaker with plenty of ice. Shake and strain into a glass and garnish with the lemon wedge.
