It is an iconic boutique winery in Penedès with history going back to the 11th century – the time of the Iberian Crusades. Segura Viudas is one of the most awarded brands in the wine and cava industry.

Elegance and Complexity

This wine is a cuvée of Xarello 40%, Macabeu 30%, Parellada 26%, Chardonnay 4%. Xarello offers structure, body, and balanced acidity. Macabeu exhibits elegance, complexity, freshness and delicate floral notes. Parellada joins the other two grapes as the classic local combination.  It brings orchard fruits and acidity. Chardonnay is a permitted grape in Cava and contributes to its well-rounded balance.
