Brockmans Gin embraces the season with scents of Autumn
Brockmans, ‘The Properly Improper Gin’ has released a new cocktail recipe, with a theme of orange to complement the bitter-sweet orange notes which are naturally present in this distinctively different gin.
In this drink, rosemary syrup and smoked bitters combine Cointreau and smooth Brockmans Gin with a hint of smoke, to create an intriguing and sophisticated concoction. Rosemary is known for its ability to awaken the senses. This heady mix of orangey, smokey, rosemary notes is a delicious and heady mixture. Prepare ahead for this cocktail as you need to create the rosemary syrup in advance.

50ml Brockmans Gin
25ml Lemon Juice
25ml Rosemary Syrup (homemade)
10ml Cointreau

*Rosemary syrup is made by steeping rosemary tea or fresh rosemary in a teapot with a 1:1 mix of sugar and water. Strain and bottle.
Light a sprig of rosemary and place it on a heatproof surface putting a Collins glass, upside down, over it. Allow the smoke from the rosemary to swirl around the glass to scent it.
