Be Part of the Perfect Soho Mix:

Seek out The King of Soho and Zebrano Soho during London Cocktail Week (12-21 October)

It’s that time of year again when London turns into one big cocktail extravaganza and we  have a chance to taste some of the best cocktails the city has to offer: time to get ready for London Cocktail Week.

Grab that London Cocktail Week wristband and head to the iconic Soho venue, Zebrano Soho where the independent spirits brand, The King of Soho, is partnering  with the venue to  bring you some amazing drinks. Zebrano is hosting the Schweppes Born Social Bar in its glamorous basement club during both weekends of the festival, on 12-14 October and on 19-21 October between 6pm-10.30pm. Cocktails made using The King of Soho gins and vodka will form part of the drinks menu.

The venue, formerly Peter Cook’s infamous Establishment Club, was home to the cream of comedy and music during the sixties in London, and also serendipitously is the very place where The King of Soho co-founders, Alex Robson and Howard Raymond came up with the idea for their spirits brand.

Schweppes is inviting guests to “indulge in Y2K nostalgia and experience the biggest hits from the noughties.” The Schweppes mixologists will be creating cocktails using The King of Soho Super-premium London Dry Gin and Ultra-premium Copacetic Vodka celebrating cocktail culture in the Capital. The King of Soho range also includes the Variorum Pink Gin, which can also be found on the Zebrano bar.

Colourful bottle designs

The King of Soho is an independent brand authentically based in Soho. They produce a collection of premium spirits that were launched in celebration of the life and Soho legacy of the original ‘King of Soho’, Paul Raymond, with the bold, colourful bottle designs embodying the independence, flamboyance, and hedonism that make Soho unique. The gin is distilled in London and is smooth and delicious. The vodka is made using English wheat.

The cocktails developed by Schweppes and using The King of Soho are: the elegantly garnished Flavour Fountain made with London Dry Gin, fresh lemon, demerara sugar, fresh mint and Schweppes Indian Tonic Water; The Gardener  made with The King of Soho Copacetic Vodka, Schweppes Soda Water and elements that include thyme, cucumber and apple juice; and Schweppes in the City  made by combining The King of Soho Copacetic Vodka with watermelon liqueur and Schweppes Monsoon Dance Watermelon mixer.

Cheers!
