Tamdhu Apricot Sour is perfect for the season!
To celebrate World Whisky Day on 16 May, the first cocktail is a refinement on a classic, the whisky sour. Crafted by the mixologist at Tamdhu Distillery, the Tamdhu Apricot Sour which he has created is an elegant, fruity and beautifully balanced serve that highlights the smooth, sherried notes of Tamdhu 12 Year Old to perfection. The drinks in this collection show just how whisky should be at your fingertips all year-round – in the shaker, or to be enjoyed neat.
Tamdhu Apricot Sour
50ml Tamdhu 12 YO
20ml fresh Lemon juice
12.5ml Sugar Syrup
25ml Apricot Liqueur
Egg white, aquafaba or foamer
Method
Add all the ingredients to a shaker and dry shake. Add ice and wet shake until chilled. Strain into a coupe or sour glass. Alternatively, serve over a large ice cube in a rocks glass.
