The even better news is that award-winning Tamdhu 10 Year Old Sherry Cask Matured Single Malt Whisky (40% ABV / 70cl), normally priced at £48, has a very special Sainsbury’s introductory offer of £35 per bottle from 19 April when it first becomes available, so grab yourself a bottle quickly.
Every drop of Tamdhu Whisky is matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry oak casks, the finest in the whisky industry, ensuring that the whisky available now is as beautifully crafted as it has been for over a century, as magnificent now as our founders envisaged. Tamdhu is entirely natural in colour and is distilled and matured on the banks of the River Spey in Scotland using casks from Jerez in Spain.

Ingredients
25ml Tamdhu 10YO
Crisp Apple Soda
Method
Fill a highball glass with ice. Pour over the Tamdhu Whisky. Top up with Crisp Apple Soda and, for a flourish, garnish with sliced apple dipped in lemon juice to keep its colour.
