At last summer has arrived. We have the chance to enjoy entertaining in the garden. We are tempted by lighter drinks and ones which will pair well with warmer weather foods. Waitrose offer Minuty M cuvée Côte de Provence rosé, and that wine is presented in a gift-quality bottle designed by Hanna KL, a Swedish visual artist!
Minuty is a family business of four generations steeped in the heritage of the production of rosés, whites and reds of the Côtes de Provence. Château Minuty is a vineyard situated on the Presqu’île de Saint-Tropez. During 2022, Minuty sold more than 9 million bottles worldwide.
The iconic Minuty M rosé bottle designed by Hanna KL is festooned with striking summer colours which waft the lucky sipper to the sun-kissed beaches of the Med and the olive groves and vineyards of the hinterland.
An abstract design
Hannah KL says, “My favourite thing about visiting new places is the fresh inspiration I get from experiencing a new culture. I process what I see in my own way and turn it into colourful illustrations. Visiting the South of France for the first time and letting all my senses explore Provence resulted in an abstract design that is both fun and sophisticated, just like Saint-Tropez.”
Minuty M is a classic blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah. It is a rosé with plenty of style which works as aperitif or with salads, chicken, grilled fish and fresh fruits. It is pale blush pink in colour and presents lemon and stone fruit on the palate. Perfect when served well-chilled wearing a flowery dress or a Panama hat.
