Lemon Prosecco cocktail is a lovely drink for summer garden parties. Its light and refreshing and you don’t have to use the finest fizz for this one.
Lemon Prosecco Cocktail recipe
1 bottle of dry prosecco
For the Lemon simple syrup:
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
Place the sugar and lemon juice to a small saucepan on a low heat. Simmer gently until the sugar dissolves and the liquid is clear. Allow the syrup to cool to room temperature. Put in a small bottle. Will keep for a couple of weeks in the refrigerator
Add 1 tablespoon of the lemon syrup to each champagne glass and top-up with well-chilled prosecco. Garnish with lemon peel
