Grill with a Difference.
A British summer is always chancy. The weather changes in moments. The sun might be unpredictable, but the food doesn’t have to be. HECK offer a range of summer-perfect grill-worthy delights and Lamb Burgers have just joined the array.
HECK’s new gluten-free Lamb Burgers, launching exclusively with Ocado, can be grilled indoors so no worries about rain stopping play. I noticed that these burgers are not fatty, and they didn’t shrink and dry out as many burgers do.
With a hint of mint
Each pack contains two substantial patties. They are thick and juicy and well-flavoured. The lamb taste is mild and well-balanced with a hint of mint for added freshness. I served these with traditional caramelised onions for sweetness, tomato slices for a bit of colour and some mint mayo to accentuate the herb in the burger. Added a little garnish of salad leaves to the assembled buns and dinner was complete.
HECK Lamb Burgers are delicious and very much to my taste. A flavourful departure from the usual burger suspects. They are crowd-pleasing winners.
