Brockmans Gin raises a glass to Tesco
For the first time, from this month, Tesco is stocking the award-winning Brockmans Gin through over 460 of its stores.
Brockmans Gin, made in England, is one of the best loved super-premium gins in the UK and professionals in the drinks industry love it too: the brand just won a Gold Medal in the Gin Masters Awards, a top annual drinks industry contest.
Brockmans Gin has a distinctively different taste profile. It brims with blueberry, blackberry and bitter-sweet orange notes and is so smooth you can even drink it neat or over ice. If you like a G&T, this gin is best served with large ice cubes, your favourite tonic water and garnished with pink grapefruit zest and a couple of fresh blueberries. Bottles of Brockmans Gin sold in Tesco will sport a neck label that includes recipes for a Perfect Serve G&T and also a Brockmans Gin & Ginger.
Five lucky customers are winners
And there’s more: share an image of a bottle of Brockmans with its special neck label purchased at Tesco via social media, tagging the brand and using #BrockmansAtTesco and five lucky customers stand a chance of winning a Brockmans Bar Wrap (a luxurious leather case containing essential cocktail making kit) each worth £109.95. The competition runs from 10th September to the 1st October 2020 and you can visit the Brockmans Gin Facebook page from the 10th September for full details.
Brockmans is described as the gin like no other. Its complex blend of botanicals means that this gin is delicious in both contemporary and classic cocktails.
Brockmans Gin is a 40% ABV spirit and you can spot it in-store because of its very different tactile black glass bottle. The botanicals are sourced from across the world. In addition to the blueberry and blackberry notes, this gin contains: Juniper from Italy; lemon peel from Murcia in Spain; bitter-sweet orange peel from Valencia; Bulgarian coriander seed providing a slightly spicy sage note; Cassia bark from Indo-China; liquorice from China, providing a sweet woody aroma; angelica from Belgium and Saxony, bitter almonds, from Spain; and Italian orris root, which helps to draw all these taste notes harmoniously together.
Brockmans Gin is on sale at Tesco priced at £34.
