The warm weather has arrived. We entertain more and look for wines which are crowd-pleasing and versatile throughout long summer evenings. Barcelona Hola Rosé is an organic wine and great value for money – and it’s from Tesco!

Tempranillo, Rhoditis, Grenache and Shiraz/Syrah are grapes used in the production of this delicately blushing wine. Rhoditis is a surprise here: it is a light pink Greek grape variety, perhaps adding a little acid to this cuvée.

Barcelona Hola Rosé Organic Wine shows its best character when served well-chilled. It is light, refreshingly crisp and dry with exotic blossoms and luscious summer berries on the palate. Enjoy as an aperitif but also with light salads, white meat and fresh fruits.
