Popular across La Manche!
Arthur Metz Crémant d’Alsace was founded in 1904. This Crémant d’Alsace Millesime 2020 is a fine ambassador for this celebrated House.
Champagne isn’t far from Alsace although the climate here is somewhat drier and sunnier. Sparkling wine has been made in this region for over 2,000 years. Arthur Metz’s grapes are grown in northern Alsace on marl and chalk soils, producing wines which are more popular with the French than Champagne!
The House of Arthur Metz is a leading producer of Alsace wine and the paramount maker of Crémant d’Alsace sparkling wine. The company became a member of Les Grands Chais de France (GSF) in 1991. GSF was founded in 1979 by Joseph Helfrish, and the group presents quality French wines mainly for export. They own vineyards in many wine-producing regions including Alsace, Loire Valley, Bordeaux, Beaujolais and Languedoc-Roussillon.
Arthur Metz Crémant d’Alsace Millesime 2020 is a real crowd pleaser and gives costly Champagne a run for its money.
