Celebrated annually, Burns Night honours Robert Burns, Scotland\u2019s national poet, and is rooted in patriotic spirit, storytelling, and conviviality. Hackstons welcomed guests to experience the cultural soul of Scotland through a guided exploration of its whisky heritage.<\/p>\n

Scotland in Six Drams reflected this ethos, bringing together flavour, provenance and education in an elegant, immersive setting. Guests enjoyed a guided 90-minute whisky journey, sampling six iconic Scottish whiskies, one from each whisky-producing region of Scotland.<\/p>\n

The tasting explored flavour profiles, craftsmanship, and regional identity, enhanced by a sensory-led approach designed to deepen appreciation of each dram. The ultra special artisan chocolate pairings created a layered journey through taste, aroma, and texture.<\/p>\n

The outstanding evening was hosted by Sam Wilson, Hackstons Retail Team Manager, alongside Ricki Faulkner from the Hackstons Cask Ownership team. Together, they offered insight into whisky not only as a drink but as an investable asset, covering maturation, finishes, age statements, and how flavour profiles can intersect with long-term value.<\/p>\n

Speyside: Glenfarclas 15-Year-Old<\/p>\n

Highlands: Old Pulteney 25-Year-Old<\/p>\n
