The company was founded in 2003 by Axel and Sophie Steenberg in North Yorkshire. Their herbs, spices and teas are ethically sourced. Many of their goods carry the Fairtrade Mark, and the facility is carbon neutral.<\/p>\n<p>I cook every day. I look for quality ingredients at a good price point: Steenbergs tick those boxes. They offer such a wide range of blends and individual spices that they provide for all my needs. The packaging in attractive jars makes these not only practical but gift quality too. They will be welcomed by any enthusiastic home cook, who will appreciate these powders.<\/p>\n<h4>The Range<\/h4>\n<p>Steenbergs Organic Chinese Five Spice powder is a delicious version of a classic blend and is made from black pepper, star anise, fennel seeds, cassia and cloves. This is a Chinese cooking essential.<\/p>\n<p>Steenbergs Thai Spice Seasoning Mix offers that unmistakable flavour of Thailand. It has sea salt, freeze-dried lime leaves, lemon grass, coriander seeds, garlic, crushed red hot chilli pieces, cane sugar, galangal and ginger.
