Click or tap to follow the link.\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rosebank.com\/visit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" auth=\"NotApplicable\" linkindex=\"1\">Rosebank Distillery<\/a><\/u> has been named Scotland\u2019s Tourism Destination of the Year at the 2025 Scottish Whisky Awards, firmly establishing it as one of the country\u2019s most significant whisky experiences.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"x__x0000_i1027\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/app.prmax.co.uk\/collateral\/224284.jpg\" width=\"602\" height=\"401\" border=\"0\" data-imagetype=\"External\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The award recognises the single most outstanding visitor experience in Scottish whisky tourism each year. Recent winners include Johnnie Walker Princes Street and the Scotch Whisky Experience, placing Rosebank among Scotland\u2019s most influential destinations.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement follows Rosebank\u2019s major global success in San Francisco, where the Rosebank 31 Year Old Lowland Single Malt was named Best in Show, Whisk(e)y, at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, widely regarded as the world\u2019s top whisky accolade.<\/p>\n<p>Leonard Russell, Chairman and Managing Director of family-owned spirits\u00a0business Ian Macleod Distillers said:\u00a0\u201cThe award is testament to all those<b>,<\/b>\u00a0past and present, who have\u00a0played a role in creating this remarkable visitor experience and sharing the story of Rosebank\u2019s reawakening with the world.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are delighted with the recognition, and grateful for the ongoing support we received from the travel industry and the community around us.\u00a0 It is a privilege to be recognised with so many remarkable finalists who continue to raise the bar for whisky experiences in Scotland.\u201d<\/p>\n<h4>Tour of the working distillery<\/h4>\n<p>Founded in Falkirk in 1840, Rosebank Distillery opened its doors to visitors in June 2024 after three decades of closure and the completion of a meticulous restoration.\u00a0 The\u00a0visitor experiences include an immersive 90-minute tour of the working distillery, a close look at Rosebank\u2019s triple distillation process and tutored<b>\u00a0<\/b>tastings of world-class whisky in spacious, custom-built tasting rooms.<\/p>\n<p>Rosebank Distillery has welcomed more than 31,000 visitors from over 38 countries since opening in 2024, with strong adoption from international travel trade partners who now feature the distillery across their Scottish itineraries.<\/p>\n<p>The Rosebank shop houses the world\u2019s largest collection of rare historic Rosebank whiskies distilled at the original site, alongside merchandise and locally produced goods.<\/p>\n<p>Rosebank resumed production on 18 July 2023 and continues to lay down casks that will form the next generation of Rosebank Lowland Single Malt.
