WHITE\u2019S GIN, the elegant London Dry Gin created by star chef Marco Pierre White, has received accolades for its latest seasonal savoury cocktail from drinks icons Oz Clarke and Tom Surgey.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/app.prmax.co.uk\/collateral\/223598.jpg\" width=\"473\" height=\"315\" name=\"x_Picture\" align=\"bottom\" border=\"0\" data-imagetype=\"External\" \/> In the latest programme in their Wine Alive Autumn Sipping Series, the drinks duo agree this gin is \u201cvery, very cool\u201d. The latest cocktail to be released this season is the MR WHITE\u2019S Mushroom Martini, which is described as \u201cabsolutely lovely\u201d. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=JFr_nLNtxkA\">You can watch the full programme, free, here.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Following on from pumpkin and beetroots, this new late autumn cocktail recipe celebrates the rich, earthy taste notes delivered by marinating mushrooms in gin. MR. WHITE\u2019S GIN, which launched earlier this year results from a combination of two masters of their respective arts: the culinary mastery of world-renowned chef Marco Pierre White meets the distilling brilliance of Master Distiller Chris Sadler. The result is an elegant, bold gin created using mostly Mediterranean botanicals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Oz Clarke and Tom Surgery recreated and enjoyed this MR. WHITE\u2019S GIN cocktail at The Pig on the South Downs, but you don\u2019t have to be at a top-flight restaurant. It\u2019s easy to create in your own kitchen but you do need to plan a day ahead. Here\u2019s how:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Recipe for MR. WHITE\u2019S Mushroom Martini <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u25cf 50ml Mr. White\u2019s Gin (infused with dried mushrooms overnight)<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u25cf 10ml Dry Vermouth<br \/>\n<\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u25cf <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Lime garnish<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Steep a handful of dried mushrooms* in the gin overnight. The next day, fine strain the gin and chill.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Combine the Gin and Vermouth in a large mixing glass filled with ice, stir for 20 seconds, strain into a chilled Martini glass and garnish with a lime twist.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i>*Drying mushrooms: <\/i><i>you can either use shop bought dried mushrooms or do it yourself in a dehydrator or oven (at around 65 degrees Celsius for at least 1 hour, checking to ensure they are completely dried out) <\/i><\/p>\n<p>Look out for MR.
