They are now making a name for themselves: Ch\u00e2teau Courac Laudun 2024 is among their number.<\/p>\n<p>With 12% of the 2024 harvest dedicated to white wine production, and a consistent increase in sales, Rh\u00f4ne Valley whites are captivating wine enthusiasts worldwide. The UK is the second largest export market.<\/p>\n<p>The region\u2019s 15 authorised grape varieties include including White Grenache, Muscat \u00e0 Petits Grains Blancs, Viognier, Clairette Blanche, and Roussanne. This diversity ensures a Rh\u00f4ne white for every occasion, food pairing and pocket.<\/p>\n<p>Nestled in the hillside of Laudun, in the village of Tresques on the west side of the Rh\u00f4ne, Ch\u00e2teau Courac is a beautiful property surrounded by forest. A 90-hectare estate, the C\u00f4tes-du- Rh\u00f4ne village was awarded Cru status in 2024. A Cru is a top appellation in the Rh\u00f4ne, of which there are just 18.<\/p>\n<p>Laudun dedicates over a quarter of its production to white wines, lovely full-flavoured white Rh\u00f4ne from a village that is particularly known for its whites. This is produced mostly from old vines and is medium-dry, with hints of orchard fruits and a little minerality.
