A Taste of Mexico on Pancake Day.<\/h3>\n

Jose Cuervo Tequila brings bold flavour to Pancake Day, whether you’re infusing your batter for a spirited twist or shaking up creative cocktails to pair with your stack.<\/p>\n

A family-owned company for 10 generations, Jose Cuervo produces, amongst others, Especial Silver from blue agave. Enjoy this as a chilled shot or as a base for your favourite tequila cocktails. It has a delicious balance between fresh acidity and rounded sweetness.<\/p>\n

But tequila is not just for drinking! Try some poured over a pancake or incorporate into the batter to add flavour and complexity.<\/p>\n

For the batter:<\/h4>\n

200ml Jose Cuervo Especial Silver \"
\n135g Plain flour
\n10g Baking powder
\n100ml Milk
\n1 whole Egg
\nButter for greasing the pan<\/p>\n

For the topping:<\/p>\n

15g Melted butter
\n10g Freeze-dried strawberries<\/p>\n

Mix flour and baking powder together.<\/p>\n

Separately, mix all the wet ingredients together.<\/p>\n

Combine the wet and dry ingredients and ensure there are no clumps of flour remaining.<\/p>\n

Add a little butter to a pan at medium-hot heat. Pour a portion of batter onto the pan and cook for a minute or so before checking the underside for doneness. Flip, and cook the top. Garnish and enjoy right away.<\/p>\n
