Here we have a recipe for <\/span>Maple Sunrise Crumble. Maple Sunrise cereal is a crunchy mix of\u00a0 healthy flakes, puffs and crispies with real maple syrup, and has no artificial flavours or colours.<\/p>\n<h4>Maple Sunrise Crumble<\/h4>\n<p>Serves 4-6<br \/>\nPrep time: 20 mins<br \/>\nCook time: 30 mins<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>6 granny smith apples &#8211; peeled, cored and sliced<br \/>\n1 punnet berries &#8211; 150g<br \/>\n3 tbsp maple syrup<br \/>\n2 tbsp vegan butter<br \/>\n1 tsp cinnamon<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp ginger<br \/>\n1 tbsp cornflour mixed with 4 tbsp cold water<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-21941 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mostlyfood.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/maple-crumble.jpg\" alt=\"Maple Sunrise Crumble\" width=\"411\" height=\"274\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mostlyfood.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/maple-crumble.jpg 1920w, https:\/\/www.mostlyfood.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/maple-crumble-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.mostlyfood.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/maple-crumble-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.mostlyfood.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/maple-crumble-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.mostlyfood.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/maple-crumble-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.mostlyfood.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/maple-crumble-150x100.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 411px) 100vw, 411px\" \/>For the crumble:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>150g Maple Sunrise cereal, lightly crushed<br \/>\n50g pecans, coarsely chopped<br \/>\n50g ground almonds<br \/>\n50g vegan butter melted<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Preheat your oven to 180\u00b0C (fan).<\/p>\n<p>2. In a large saucepan, combine the prepared apples, berries, vegan butter, maple syrup and spices.<\/p>\n<p>3. Cook over a medium heat until the apples are just softened and everything is coated evenly.<\/p>\n<p>4. Stir in the cornflour slurry; you should end up with a thick, glossy filling.<\/p>\n<p>5. Remove from the heat and transfer to a baking dish. Set to one side while you prepare the crumble.<\/p>\n<p>6. In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed cereal, chopped pecans and ground almonds.<\/p>\n<p>7. Pour over the melted vegan butter and bring together with a spoon to form clusters.<\/p>\n<p>8. Distribute the crumble mixture on top of the fruit filling then place in the oven to bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.<\/p>\n<p>9. Allow to cool slightly before serving as it is or with an indulgent topping of your choice.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Notes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Most apples will work, just adjust initial cooking time according to how soft they are.<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf I used blackberries but other berries will work just fine.<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Coconut oil can be substituted for the vegan butter if preferred.<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Other nuts can be substituted for the pecans if preferred.<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Gluten-free flour can be substituted for the ground almonds.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Visit Nature\u2019s Path here https:\/\/naturespath.com<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Treat on Nature\u2019s Path.
