The Salford Rum Company\u2019s Citrus White Rum is gift quality, but I wouldn\u2019t give this one away!<\/p>\n<p>Salford White Rum has classy shelf appeal. \u00a0It is bottled in frosted glass, printed with the company\u2019s signature Salford docks map. The design, by artist Dave Draws, is based on a 1900 map of the Salford docks during the height of its industrial activity. The ship canal areas are left unfrosted allowing you to see the rum within. Each bottle includes an LED light-up feature so you can display the bottle in dramatic fashion.<\/p>\n<h4>Enjoy the aroma<\/h4>\n<p>So, the packaging is noteworthy, but how about the rum? That doesn\u2019t disappoint either. This is a rum that intrigues from the first sniff. Yes, remove the cork and enjoy the aroma, which will set the scene for the first taste. It would make a delightful cocktail but try it simply over ice.<\/p>\n<p>This citrus rum is smooth with plenty of fresh fruit on the palate. The finish is pleasingly long, giving over to flavours of citrus zest and peel. It is distilled in small batches with the essence of orange, Sicilian lemon and lime peels, and those profiles remain distinct in this delicious spirit. The taste is bright and summery and the perfect replacement for sunshine when the weather doesn\u2019t cooperate.<\/p>\n<p>The Salford Rum Company\u2019s White Rum should have wide appeal. It is vibrant, fresh and crisp.
