Animated Movie of the Year celebrating the world\u2019s laziest cat!<\/h3>\n

Garfield mania has arrived with the countdown to the May 24th Animated Movie of the Year celebrating the world\u2019s laziest cat! Frankie & Benny\u2019s kid\u2019s menu will feature a new limited item: (you guessed it) lasagne, and the chance for one lucky family to win a once in a lifetime trip to New York City.<\/p>\n

Popular Italian American restaurant Frankie & Benny\u2019s has announced a special collaboration to celebrate the animated movie launch of Garfield, the lazy, wise-cracking, lasagne-loving iconic cat. Frankie & Benny\u2019s has proudly teamed up with Columbia Pictures\/Alcon Entertainment to salute the upcoming Garfield film. The much-loved restaurant has become the official UK restaurant partner for the movie and from today will unveil a series of new Garfield-inspired treats and special events for diners. The popular Italian restaurant\u2019s Executive Head Chef, Ben Keegans, has created a delicious new lasagne dish for their little diners and he guarantees it’s Garfield approved. The new exclusive menu item comes with a drink, side, and a dessert all for \u00a38.30.<\/p>\n

A cat’s life<\/h3>\n

Since the creation of the Garfield comic strip by Jim Davis in 1978, the world-famous, fat, cynical, orange tabby has shown off his love of lasagne and hatred of Mondays, which resulted in attracting generations of fans. Garfield became the world\u2019s most syndicated cartoon, loved by millions for his lazy outlook on life with laid-back observations including \u201cOh no! I overslept! I’m late! For my nap.\u201d, \u201cYou know it’s Monday when you wake up, and it’s Tuesday.\u201d and \u201cAll I do is eat and sleep. Eat and sleep. Eat and sleep. There must be more to a cat’s life than that. But I hope not.\u201d And now, as the world awaits the May 24th release of The Garfield Movie, Frankie & Benny\u2019s is set to entertain families as well as all lovers of all the Garfield characters including Odie (Garfield\u2019s dog!), Jon (Garfield\u2019s \u2018owner\u2019), and new faces like Vic (Garfield\u2019s long-lost father).<\/p>\n
