Trivento Argentina White Malbec 2023 is clear rather than having a yellow hue as do most white wines. Its simple label still boasts the Trivento metallic banner which is so recognisable.

The Malbec grape is a thin-skinned fruit and mostly used for the production of red wines. Here it offers the lusciousness of those wines but with a much lighter persona. White Malbec 2023 is a blanc de noirs created by the celebrated leaders of South American Malbec, Trivento. When red grapes are gently pressed and the juice is allowed to ferment after being separated from the skins, the resulting white wine is referred to as “blanc de noirs”, meaning a white wine from red grapes. Here, Malbec grapes are pressed to maintain some red fruit aromas whilst preserving the white wine colour. The juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks to retain a clean fruit character. It is a wine for drinking young.

Trivento Argentina White Malbec 2023 should be served chilled, so its crisp green apple and citrus qualities are shown to best advantage. It’s the perfect wine for summer sipping when paired with light meals, salads, chicken and fish. Try this as a spritz with crushed berries and sparkling water.

About Bodega Trivento

Rooted in the energy of Argentina’s passion for wine, Trivento–meaning three winds–is synonymous with expressive, terroir-driven Malbec that paints a vivid portrait of Mendoza’s high-altitude vineyards in the foothills of the Andes Mountains.
