Lola\u2019s Cupcakes was born back in 2006, when two friends, Victoria Jossel and Romy Lewis, turned their passion for baking into a business. They opened concessions in Selfridges, Topshop and a flagship store in Mayfair. Today they have over 30 locations as well as convenient collection lockers.<\/p>\n

Lola\u2019s offers a choice for Easter of a vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and raspberry compote, or chocolate sponge with a chocolate buttercream filling \u2013 decorated with mini eggs, sugar carrots and Easter sprinkles. We tried the vanilla version, and it was a delight. The cake was moist and light with a tangy filling of that fruit sauce and buttercream. And that buttercream is outstanding.<\/p>\n

A celebration cake is first judged by its presentation, but it\u2019s all about the taste once the first slice is cut. Lola\u2019s does not disappoint. The Easter Layer Cake is a real crowd-pleaser and the perfect centrepiece for a special gathering.<\/p>\n
