Grand Palais M\u00e9doc is surprisingly good value for money!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere can be a lot of misconceptions and preconceived ideas about Bordeaux wines,\u201d says Tesco wine expert Charlotte Lemoine, \u201cbut there are a lot of amazing, affordable and refreshing options on Tesco shelves, as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This rich Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot (a variety of red wine grape used in good Bordeaux wines) offers classic expressions of this style of wine. There are plenty of blackcurrant, blackberry and oak flavours that are typical of many of the wines from the left bank of the Garonne river estuary, which is celebrated for its quality production.<\/p>\n<p>Grand Palais M\u00e9doc 2019 is the perfect choice when seeking a pairing for those comforting cooler-weather dishes. It marries well with hearty red meat dishes and steaks as well as spiced Asian foods. Try with your favourite strong cheeseboard items.
