Stellenbosch 2022.<\/h3>\n

\"\"This classic white wine is made by the family-owned Stellenrust winery from Chenin Blanc grapes grown in South Africa’s iconic Stellenbosch region. This beautiful region is the most celebrated of South Africa’s wine industry. The soil and climate are perfect for the production of Chenin Blanc.<\/p>\n

The grape is thought to have been one of the first to be grown in South Africa by either Jan van Riebeeck in 1655 or by the Huguenots who left France following religious persecution in 1685. Now chenin blanc is the most widely planted grape variety in South Africa. It is the ideal wine for summer food pairing.<\/p>\n

Tasting Notes<\/h4>\n

Appearance: clear; pale lemon
\nNose: melon, honey and apple.
\nPalate: green apples, hint of vanilla. Crisp and dry with balanced acid. Light and refreshing
\nFinish: medium<\/p>\n

Best served well chilled with seafood, cheeseboards, spiced foods<\/p>\n
