Trebbiano is one of the most widely cultivated grape varieties in the world. It\u2019s been grown since Roman times, and it is the most important grape variety in Abruzzo. It\u2019s best enjoyed young and well chilled. I would choose this with grilled lamb, in the garden on a warm summer evening.<\/p>\n

This is a light and refreshing white wine with notes of cut grass, citrus and peaches. It\u2019s crisp and dry and could be paired with oily fish, and pasta with cheese sauces.<\/p>\n

Vista Castelli Trebbiano d\u2019Abruzzo is better quality than the price might suggest. It\u2019s under a fiver, which is a surprise, so it\u2019s the go-to wine for a summer party. It\u2019s suitable for vegans, therefore an all-round crowd pleaser, and it won\u2019t break the bank.<\/p>\n
