We look forward to good food with friends, and that will be enhanced by decent wines. The Misfits Cinsault available at Tesco is a good solid red which can be kept for up to 8 years. That makes it the perfect gift when visiting folks for a meal at theirs.

The Misfits Cinsault is from Ken Forrester Wines and is made in Western Cape, South Africa, from grapes from the Piekenierskloof vineyard, 600 m above sea level.

A significant volume of Cinsault is grown in South Africa and has become more popular over these last years. It is heat tolerant and withstands drought, which is a prized quality in this region – and will be in many others in the future.

Notes:

Bottle: 750ml with screwcap
ABV: 12.5% vol
Grape variety: 100% Cinsault

The fruit is harvested, partially de-stalked and partially whole-bunch fermented on wild yeasts. After fermentation the wine is blended. The resulting wine has a red-purple hue and bursts with luscious fruit flavour. The finish is pleasing and of medium length. Enjoy this with roasted meats but also with cold cuts and dishes with rich sauces.

Storage: kee pcool

Find more Tesco wines here

Tesco partners with Ken Forrester Wines.
