Their Spicy Jerk Wrap Kit is just as memorable as their other offerings. They are not dumbed down in flavour. They present an authentic taste of the sun-kissed islands in one’s own home.

This kit could not be easier to use. No need for cheffy equipment and one can customise the kit to one’s own dietary needs. It could be a meaty feast or an exciting vegetarian meal and it’s all at one’s fingertips – and those digits don’t even have to be skilled in anything apart from a bit of chopping.

The Irie Eats Spicy Jerk Wrap Kit contains enough fixin’s to feed four hungry diners. There are 8 Soft Flour Wraps, one sachet of the essential Spicy Jerk Seasoning Mix, and vibrant Jerk Paste. For the chicken version just add 500g chicken breast mini fillets (I use thighs, though), a yellow pepper, a green pepper and an onion.

Simple prep

The method is simple. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken pieces with the contents of the Jerk Seasoning Mix pouch. Make sure that all the chicken is well coated with the jerk seasoning. Leave to marinate for 2-3 minutes. Heat 1-2 tablespoons of oil in a large pan. Cook the chicken over a medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes. Add the sliced peppers and onion. Continue to cook for a further 5 minutes. Add the Jerk Paste into the pan, making sure that all the chicken and vegetable pieces are very well coated. Continue to fry on a medium heat for a further 10 minutes until thoroughly cooked and golden. Fill the warmed wraps and enjoy.

The Irie Eats Spicy Jerk Wrap Kit will be loved by those who appreciate the complexity of full-on Caribbean dishes. These wraps are showstoppers. Serve with a fresh salad and a mug of chilled beer and sit under a palm tree (or the kitchen spotlights) and enjoy every bite. I am addicted.

Learn more about Irie Eats meal kits here

Hot at home.
