In 1955 the Minuty estate became one of just 14 Châteaux in Provence to be given the Cru Classé designation. With over 160 hectares of owned vineyards in the heart of Provence, overlooking the iconic bay of St Tropez, Château Minuty uses sustainable farming practices; the combination of an historical know-how and contemporary technology ensures the wine’s continued reputation for quality.

Most of the production is given over to classic rosé wine for which the region is famous. Minuty Prestige is a good expression of the style of wine we have come to expect and love. It’s the perfect choice for al fresco meals of white meats in light sauces, poached fish such as salmon, and grilled vegetables. It’s also a delightful aperitif, or a palate-cleansing treat served with fresh berries at the end of a meal.

Tasting notes:

Colour: Pale peach

Nose: delicate with notes of white blossom

Palate: well balanced with hints of citrus and summer berries

Finish: a medium finish with a suspicion of mineral wet stones.

Minuty Prestige, Côtes de Provence Rosé is available to buy at Secret Bottle Shop, £22.95 – https://secretbottleshop.co.uk/

For more information on Château Minuty please visit here

A rosé summer There can be nothing better than a mellow summer evening.
