Wedgwood is a well-respected restaurant in Edinburgh, but they can spread gastronomic joy over the whole of the UK with their Festive Boxes.<\/p>\n<p>The new \u2018Wedgwood at Home Festive Box\u2019 has been created using the best of local Scottish ingredients and those meals have been designed by Paul Wedgwood who is Co-owner and Head Chef of the eponymous restaurant. Paul started his career in the Lake District working in everything from pubs to fine-dining Michelin-starred restaurants. He was particularly inspired by working with celebrity chef John Tovey at Miller Howe in Windermere.<\/p>\n<h4>Detailed instruction booklet<\/h4>\n<p>Each box takes advantage of the best produce each season has to offer, and Christmas is no exception. But there is more! These deliveries include the food as well as a detailed instruction booklet; but to enhance the cooking experience there is a video to cook along with. It shows heating, plating, and garnishing like a pro. Any chef-wannabe would love this as a pre-Christmas gift.<\/p>\n<p>We have loved both the food and the concept. We might not be able to get to polished restaurants, but Wedgwood offers us a chance to eat fine-dining food, cooked fresh and without the need to venture out into the cold! Set the table, lower the lights (in the dining room, not the kitchen), pour a glass of wine, cook along and feel that festive glow.
