Simmer gently until the sugar dissolves and the liquid is clear. Allow the syrup to cool to room temperature. Put in a small bottle. Will keep for a couple of weeks in the refrigerator<\/p>\n<p>Add 1 tablespoon of the lemon syrup to each champagne glass and top-up with well-chilled prosecco.
