The better weather is finally with us, and we plan al fresco gatherings with plenty of fizz. Tesco Finest English Sparkling Brut is great value for money and is bound to be a crowd pleaser.
The grapes for this wine are hand-harvested from the vineyards in Kent of the award-winning Balfour winery. This English Sparkling Wine is made from a classic cuvée of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir grapes. This trio are the most popular grape varieties used in the production of that celebrated and very expensive French sparkling-wine alternative.
Tasting notes:
Dry and crisp with apple, apricot, elderflower and citrus flavours joined by buttery toasted brioche flourishes on the finish.
Tesco Finest English Sparkling Brut is best served chilled right from the fridge. Enjoy as an aperitif with light nibbles but also with smoked salmon, and with fresh summer fruits as a simple and elegant dessert.
