Summer Cava.

Nothing speaks louder of summer than the sound of a popping cork, the gentle fizz as a glass is poured and that first cool sip. Perelada Stars Brut Reserva 2023 is the classic expression of a quality cava and at a great price point.

Cava is the only Spanish Designation of Origin dedicated exclusively to Traditional Method sparkling wines. Coming from Catalonia, Cava is produced using the same technique as its more famous cousin, Champagne.  The Traditional Method takes advantage of a secondary fermentation in the bottle, followed by extended ageing on the lees.

The region’s Mediterranean climate, with vines bathed in sunshine and cooled by evening breezes, allows grapes to reach maturity developing a pleasing fresh acidity.

Perelada Stars Brut Reserva is a classic Spanish Cava from the celebrated Perelada winery. It is a blend of Parellada, Macabeu and Xarel-lo grapes, which is a classic cuve. It’s balanced with crisp acidity making it a great aperitif that can continue to the table.

Tasting Notes:

Appearance: Pale straw with elegant bubbles
Palate: Green apples with hints of brioche
Finish: Medium length and mouth-filling
