Devil’s Margarita is a deliciously different cocktail from The Plough Inn, Lupton
25ml lime juice
25ml sugar syrup
Red wine to top up
Fill a martini glass with ice to chill whilst you make the drink.
Put tequila, lime juice and sugar syrup in a shaker over lots of ice.
Shake until chilled (condensation should appear on the outside of the shaker).
Empty the martini glass of ice and then pour the chilled mixture in.
Using the back of a tea spoon slowly pour the red wine onto the back of the spoon to layer on top of the tequila mixture. Pour until about 2cm from the top of the glass.
