Bouvet Ladubay

Sparkling Saumur Rosé Brut.

In 1851, Etienne Bouvet and Célestine Ladubay founded the house that bears their names. This stunning Bouvet Ladubay Saumur Rosé Brut is one from their collection and it bats far above its modest price point.

Due to Etienne Bouvet’s skill, the estate soon became one of the leading producers of sparkling wines in the region and from 1890 they were exporting across the globe. Since 1932, the Monmousseau family has continued its reputation for excellence.

Saumur is a wine region in the Loire Valley in France. The region is celebrated for sparkling wines produced by the traditional method, the same as for its famous cousin, Champagne, made from Cabernet Franc grapes.

Cabernet Franc presents wine with elegant characteristics.  Bouvet Ladubay Saumur Rosé Brut is salmon pink and inviting, with bubbles that excite the tastebuds before even the first sip. On the palate it displays a creamy mouthfeel, plenty of luscious summer berries with stone fruit and floral notes.

This wine is a delight and affordable. It’s the perfect choice for the summer aperitif hour, served well chilled with perhaps some light savoury nibbles. Perfect – and an outstanding crowd pleaser.
