Caramelised Apple TeacakesFrom Sainsbury's
A tasty quick and easy dessert, ideal for summer entertaining.

75g dairy free spread
50g caster sugar
Juice of 1 lemon
8 dessert apples, peeled and sliced into wedges
2 Sainsbury's teacakes (most of the range are free from milk)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons icing sugar
Mint sprigs to decorate
Pack of apple crackles
Melt the spread in a large frying pan. Toss the apple wedges in the lemon juice.
Add the sugar and apples to the pan and cook over a medium heat for 20 minutes until caramelised.
Meanwhile, toast the teacakes.
Divide the apple mix between each half of the teacakes.
Mix the cinnamon with the icing sugar and sprinkle over each topped cake.
Decorate with apple crackles and a sprig of mint.
